Before I jump back in and tell you a little about where I’ve been for the last week I need to say one last HUGE Thank You to The Fashion Huntress, Baubles to Bubbles, and A Mouthful of Moderation. It was so good to have some of my favorite ladies posting here.
I honestly spent the last week relaxing. I mean, what else is family vacation for? I ate meals full of seafood, sat with my butt in a beach chair, toes in the sand/ocean. Book in one hand, beer in the other, that was my vacation. I honestly felt so relaxed going into Monday, I was kind of afraid.
But before we delve back into the usual around here….
If your ever in Charleston, eat here. I’ve been multiple times and it’s never let me down. I got the Halibut and if my family hadn’t shared with me I wouldn’t have shared with them.
Stay here. Seriously, this hotel is beautiful. Right in the middle of everything, comfortable rooms, beyond beautiful lobby, and insane shopping all around. While this isn’t where I spent a week, I’m sure it would be way more than comfortable.
Read this. And This. And probably this. I mean I’m not done the last one yet, but I don’t know how I hadn’t read them before. If it hadn’t rained on our first day, I’m pretty sure I would have made it through all three….but #3 was sold out when I was ready for it.

Wear this. If you’re planning on sitting in the sun, I swear by this brand. It’s inexpensive, smells delish, and has never let me down. Now granted I reapplied like crazy….. it’s still awesome. Also? This is my go to post vacay.
Beyond those recommendations, I suggest you flow like the tides. Eat what you want. Indulge, with out ignoring what feels right (like a run.) UNPLUG. And enjoy the fireworks that are best viewed on a summer night….
